BoatSecure joins the NZ Internet of Things Alliance
BoatSecure has joined the NZ IoT Alliance. The industry association represents a broad membership of technology vendors, solution developers, researchers, advisers and user organisations. John McDermott, CEO of BoatSecure, has also been voted to the executive council representing the Small and Medium Enterprise membership.
The NZ IoT Alliance is the leading voice for all those with interested in applications using remotely connected systems. As well as BoatSecure becoming a member I am also privileged to be representing the SME sector on the executive council.
Membership provides us excellent connections across the NZ tech eco-system and influence with vendors, government agencies and press. In addition to managing BoatSecure, I run the IoT Auckland Meetup, a successful networking group that helps to inform and inspire the local tech community. I am very pleased with this additional role at the IoT Alliance as it enables me to share my technical and entrepreneurial journey with others and represent the professional network I am involved with. I encourage you to subscribe on the IoT Alliance webpage to keep up to date with the activities we are involved in for accelerating the success of Internet of Things technology.
